Berserk is a unique grim masterpiece but it all is due to the source material and the adaptation adds little or nothing to enhance the story with its anime format, it contributes motion and sound contrary with the manga but the low budget and likely rushed schedule made this more like a slideshow panning from drawing from left to right than a animated adaptation, the geometry and consistency are below decent, the only good moments are the static frames where composition was outstanding and impressed me that and the soundtrack that repetitive was a highlight.overall a low budget anime that its highest value is to introduce people to the manga.
